poem for day 11
a day of soul shining
connecting on purpose
for the good
of this generation
and the next –
paving a way
that can honor who and what has come before
and discard the misplaced steps,
the wrong turns,
the hurts unspoken.
a day committed to healing,
to making things right,
to leading with the heart
outside the boundaries
of what is known
and with
spirits soaring
hearts afire
fierce intentions
we will lay new ground.
