About Daniel and Carey Domb
DANIEL DOMB
Daniel has been featured on numerous orchestral and chamber music recordings but achieved a milestone with the international release of the first and only Canadian recordings of the complete Bach Suites for Solo Cello. His most recent releases are Cello, pieces arranged for cello choir, and On Cello, his arrangement of the Bach Violin Partita No. 2. Other CDs include the Kodaly Sonata for Solo Cello and Spirituals, Meditations (cello and harp) and six CDs recorded with his wife Carey accompanying him on guitar: Bel Canto, Humanita, Apollo, Odyssey, Il Sole Italiano and Steppes.

CAREY DOMB
Carey Domb started her musical life with the cello, receiving both bachelor and master of music degrees from Rice University in Texas. Although she dedicated herself to teaching, she toured with the Montovani Orchestra and played with the Houston Pops Orchestra, CJRT Orchestra, Toronto Philharmonic and as a substitute in the Toronto Symphony. Daniel and Carey began their duo performing with two cellos and can both be heard playing cello on two CDs of pianist Mary Bundy: A Gift of Love and Blessings from the Heart. However, they always had in mind another kind of setting to frame the beautiful sound of the cello, and Carey began to accompany Daniel on guitar, arranging many of their favourite pieces.
